We are a grassroots initiative dedicated to revitalising the role of the Masjid in modern society. Our goal is to transform it from a house of prayer into the vibrant, beating heart of community life.
Our Story

The Challenge
In the span of just a single generation, our daily lives have undergone a massive shift. While technology and financial independence have brought new opportunities, they have also brought unexpected challenges. We have transitioned from a culture of interaction to one of isolation.
Where our parents' generation relied on tight-knit networks of neighbours and relatives for support, many of us today do not even know who lives next door. Busy work routines and digital screens have weakened the nucleus of the family and disconnected us from our wider communities, leaving many individuals - especially the most vulnerable - feeling isolated and alone.

What We Do
My Local Masjid creates resources, frameworks and programs to help Masjids engage with thier local communities.
